40 Caliber Glock Models - I bought a G23 Gen 3 a few months ago and it has become my favorite weapon and I have quite a few. I bought a 9mm conversion barrel so I can shoot 40 s&w or 9mm in it and it is a perfect gun for carry or long range use. If you're considering the G19, I'd go with the G23 and barrel shifter. This gun can be adapted to shoot 4 different calibers (available in 40 s & w, you can get either a 9mm or .357 barrel conversion, and you can get a .22lr conversion kit). Awesome weapons all around! I highly recommend this weapon.
I prefer holding the Gen 4 over the Gen 3. Safer in hand. The 23 gauge is perfect for concealed carry, but tough enough to get the recoil back and provide a long sight. I like the idea of a barrel twist .357 Sig. You can't beat a Glock in my opinion.

Honestly, I break Glocks too. They are very close and bulky weapons that do not fit in my hands at all. Recently my wife wanted one, we went to the store and she watched the salesperson give me the gen 4 and it was like a glove. After doing a little research, I found out that the gen 4 was designed to be a 1911 grip, which I love about the 1911, but I also love how I can customize the glock. So the 23 gen 4 was probably the last gun I bought until it was destroyed.

I bought a Gen 3 a few years ago. I still love guns to this day. I'd love to get a Gen 4 one day, but I don't see the need yet. I loved it for being responsible when I was in law enforcement. It's not too heavy and still has a good shot. I recommend it to almost anyone who wants to carry concealed.
I like it. I have a Gen 5 G19, my friend made me change. TRUE. Fits any Glock 19 holster, no problem. It can also shoot 9mm. I think it's great!
I tried the Glock 23 and immediately fell in love with it, great gun and a different feel. You might expect more recoil, but for the caliber, it's a great gun. This is not my first Glock, I have had a G17, G19, G23, G30SF and G45, but my G23 feels different.

I love Glock stores. Lots of video information and great work. I didn't buy my gun here. I live 12 miles from the Buds gun store in Lexington, KY. It was my first gun. I bought it and never made it 2 years old. shame on you, then I retired and met my new boyfriend. I replaced the water, it made a big difference. This Glock 23 is the fourth generation. I put a large XS lens on it. Now I love this, it hits the mark fast. Bam where you are. I installed a black branded barrel and a johny glock trigger. I am very thirsty, it shows when I walk close. There is a book on shooting Navy Seals, Chris Sajnog, . I learned a lot about shooting. Unfortunately, Chris is a marksmanship coach. Money well spent. you will not do well with this Glock 23. I bought a Glock 31 which is a Sig 357 caliber with one magazine. I bought 2 more Sig 357 magazines from Gun Broker but the dealer said they couldn't find the magazines to make a long story short, he went and bought me (2) 40 caliber magazines and assure me they will work for 357s. . gun. Then I bought a barrel caliber 40 ACP. So now I have a Sig 357 in .40 ACP with 3 magazines. Then I bought a 9mm barrel conversion and (3) 9mm magazines so with the purchase of a gun and a few extras, I have a 3 caliber handgun different. Glock rules!!!!!! I will get another 22LR conversion.

Deer legal in my state. Suffering? Glock 23 approved in my state. .40 S&W from a minimum of four inches is deer medicine where I live. Add to that the firepower of the .40 carbine, and the joy increases with every extra pound of power gained from this long barrel.

Why is it worth mentioning that the .40 S&W can take down deer in these areas? Because this is a strong circle in itself. Law enforcement usage may have skyrocketed in the past few years, but that doesn't take away from the pumpkin patch.
Despite a good human stand and (according to my state's deer laws) a good deer stand. Many law enforcement agencies use (or have used) the .40 S&W, most notably the FBI, before reverting to 9mm. Where did it come from? The .40 S&W came about when the FBI (who accepted the 10mm cartridge) asked Smith & Wesson to downsize the 10mm cartridge. A full 10mm is a handful, so they need something that most users can shoot comfortably. S&W created the eponymous .40, detuned the 10mm case and scaled it down a bit, and it was adopted by the FBI. It's pretty cool, especially if you're a 40s fan. To be honest, I have never owned a .40 pistol or carbine. I have no problem with the bullet - I just shoot, shoot and reload 9mm and .45 ACP. I haven't seen the need to go with .40 since mine are "bookends" and off the shelf caliber. I always thought about buying a .40 in the future. If I do, the move will die and the bullet piece will be next on the list.
Carrying a gun that puts out 400 power (or more) will give you confidence. This is true, especially if the gun is not big, easy to carry, and shoots twelve or more rounds in the magazine. I think part of the failure of the .40 is that the ballistic development of the 9mm cartridge has really begun. Additionally, there are some excellent 9mm loads that deliver several pounds of energy, such as Hostess Twinkies calories.
Given that you can carry more 9mm ammo at a given point than .40 ammo, it makes a difference. Check out the market leader in the most comparable compact 9mm pistol - Glock's best-selling Model 19. We see the same difference when looking at the 9mm size and 40 full Glocks, models 17 and 22. The Model 17 holds 17 rounds in a standard magazine, compared to the Model 22's 15 of . 40.
